Tactile Indicators

Tactile indicators are designed to provide assistance for visually impaired pedestrians. Their colour and raised profile patterns are specifically designed to provide vision impaired pedestrians with warning of approaching hazards and to give directional guidance. There are two types of tactile indicators, a warning tile comprising of round, raised studs, and a directional tile comprising a series of ridge patterns.
